While Torrance's win against West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tartars had just enough and edged out the Warriors 3-2 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tartars in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Torrance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-12.

Torrance's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-14-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Torrance is set to challenge their familiar foe North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West will face off against rival Palos Verdes at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
