Sheridan entered their tilt with Meadowbrook on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Meadowbrook Colts 59-30. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Colts are ranked 578th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Colts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Warner, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Meadowbrook, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Sheridan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-59 win against Philo on the 25th. As for Meadowbrook, they will take on Coshocton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
