Baseball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Faith Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Rock Port Blue Jays on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Parker Blanton, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Chase Newton was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Faith Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christ Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 25. As for Rock Port, they will be playing at home against Falls City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
