Volleyball Recap: Big Spring Bulldogs vs. Berwick Bulldogs
Big Spring had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Berwick Bulldogs 3-0 on Saturday.
Big Spring walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 25-23.
When it comes to explaining why Berwick lost, don't look at Angie Colone. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and 12 kills. Colone is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Rauch, who had six digs and 26 assists.
Big Spring has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Berwick, they moved to 18-5 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.
