Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial lost against Legacy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Memorial Mavericks took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Legacy Leopards. The game marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Memorial's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Legacy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Memorial has already played their next game (against Wylie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Legacy will host Cooper at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Legacy has six straight victories, Cooper has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
