Soccer Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Concordia's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After failing to score in their last match, Concordia made sure to put some goals up on the board against Benson on Saturday. They never let the Bunnies get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. It was an even better day for Abbi Gibbs as she scored three goals for her team.

Concordia is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five games. As for Benson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Concordia has already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian on the 28th. As for Benson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Omaha Northwest on the 28th.
