Volleyball Recap: Payson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Payson lost against Lehi back in October of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Payson still got an impressive performance from Brynley Nielson, who had 14 digs and three aces. Nielson has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Paige Wakumoto was nothing short of spectacular for Lehi: she had 30 digs and four assists.

Payson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lehi, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Payson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Delta on the 22nd. As for Lehi, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Copper Hills on the 21st.
