Basketball Game Preview: Pickens Blue Flame vs. North Henderson Knights

The Pickens Blue Flame will take on the North Henderson Knights in a tournament on Friday. Pickens is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Pickens came up short against Southside and fell 61-53.

Meanwhile, North Henderson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Asheville. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Knights came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Cougars are ranked 492nd).

North Henderson's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Pickens, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
