Recap: Oak Harbor Rockets vs. Madison Blue Streaks
On Saturday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Oak Harbor had to settle for a 52-50 loss against Madison. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oak Harbor has scored all season.
Madison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JP Dragas led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Dragas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mac Steele, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Oak Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Oak Harbor will head out on the road to face off against Fostoria at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fostoria has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 528 points over their last eight contests. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Jefferson Area at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson Area is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
