Basketball Recap: Sandhills Valley Takes a Loss

Sandhills Valley has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paxton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-31 on February 7th.

Leading Paxton to victory were Maddex Mcconnell and Jasper Brewster. Mcconnell posted nine points and five rebounds, while Brewster put up six points and seven boards. Brewster is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Sandhills Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Paxton, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

As of now, neither Sandhills Valley nor Paxton have any future games scheduled.
