Baseball Recap: South Putnam Eagles vs. Brown County Eagles

South Putnam's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Brown County as they made off with a 12-0 win. South Putnam not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 29-0).

Wyatt Mullin made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because South Putnam is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise. Mullin was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kason Amies was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Graham Clark was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
