Volleyball Recap: Ross County Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westfall last Thursday, Ross County Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the CHESS Christian Royals on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Friday.

Ross County Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Ross County Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for CHESS Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Ross County Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Grove City on the 8th. As for CHESS Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against East Dayton Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
