Volleyball Recap: Monta Vista Comes Up Short

Monta Vista came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Palo Alto Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Matadors in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-18.

Monta Vista's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Palo Alto, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Monta Vista will head out to take on Menlo School at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Palo Alto, they will be playing at home against Los Gatos at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
