Basketball Game Preview: Leadore Mustangs vs. Challis Vikings

The Leadore Mustangs will take on the Challis Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Leadore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Leadore beat Clark County 50-37.

Meanwhile, Challis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 47-42 to Mackay. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Leadore will need focus on slowing down Brayden Ollar, one of several Challis players who made an impact when they last played. He posted ten points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ramey Rhoades, who put up 11 points and six boards.

Challis' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9. As for Leadore, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10.
