Tai Bowler, Monacan's leader in steals on the season, led the team again on Friday. Clover Hill had no answer to Bowler as he went 7-for-16 on his way to 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Bowler has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Looking ahead, Bowler and Monacan will be home for the holidays to greet Powhatan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chiefs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Indians thanks in part to Bowler: he posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals.
