Despite the defeat, Maryville Christian had strong showings from Logan Schwenk, who scored 15 points along with three blocks, and Levi Gray, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Schwenk scored a full 34.9% of Maryville Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
SIUE East St. Louis Charter's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-6. As for Maryville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
