Woodgrove entered their tilt with Dominion on Tuesday with 27 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 28. They were the clear victors by a 27-0 margin over the Titans. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Virginia Dowell made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Faith Barker was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Addie McCullers, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Woodgrove lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Woodgrove's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Dominion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodgrove will head out to square off against Osbourn Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dominion, they will square off against South Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
