Baseball Game Preview: Brookville Raiders vs. Johnsonburg Rams

The Brookville Raiders will square off against the Johnsonburg Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Brookville and nine for Johnsonburg dating back to last season.

Brookville is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since March 27, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley by a score of 6-4.

Luke Burton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Parker Kalgren, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Johnsonburg lost 9-3 to Redbank Valley on Monday.

Johnsonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Brookville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
