Soccer Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel lost against Milford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Laurel have lost by exactly six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Laurel and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1. As for Milford, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel will host Woodbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they will welcome Polytech at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Polytech will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Milford surely won't give up without a fight.
