Softball Recap: Columbus Discoverers vs. Lincoln East Spartans
Columbus was the 8-7 winner over Lincoln East when they last played one another on September 12th, but their luck changed this time around. The Columbus Discoverers fell just short of the Lincoln East Spartans by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Discoverers have lost by just one run.
Columbus dropped their record down to 7-19 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Lincoln East, their record is now 17-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus' road trip will continue as they head out to face Norfolk on Tuesday. As for Lincoln East, they will head out to square off against Millard West on Monday.
