Basketball Recap: Carthage Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carthage can now relate to. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Willard on Tuesday. Carthage hasn't had much luck with Willard recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Carthage now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Willard, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.

Carthage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-21 victory against Lebanon on the 25th. Willard has also already played their next contest (against Republic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
