Volleyball Recap: Divine Savior Academy - Sienna Comes Up Short

Divine Savior Academy - Sienna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Second Baptist University-Model Eagle. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagle this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Divine Savior Academy - Sienna started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Divine Savior Academy - Sienna's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Second Baptist University-Model, they pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Divine Savior Academy - Sienna will head out on the road to square off against Brazosport Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Second Baptist University-Model, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Baytown Christian on the 29th.
