Football Game Preview: Hauppauge Eagles vs. Harborfields Tornadoes + How To Watch

The Hauppauge Eagles will face off against the Harborfields Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hauppauge has given up an average of 34.8 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hauppauge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Half Hollow Hills West by a score of 49-38 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Liam Oconnor had a dynamite game, rushing for 194 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Hauppauge's run defense was locked in: Half Hollow Hills West could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harborfields, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Amityville Memorial 20-18. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Harborfields' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hauppauge, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Hauppauge against Harborfields in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-7 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
