Basketball Recap: Crosspointe Christian Academy Skates Past Colonial Christian with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when Crosspointe Christian Academy challenged Colonial Christian on Tuesday. The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers blew past the Colonial Christian Cougars 64-30. With the Panthers ahead 35-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

William Yeiter was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 14 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Coltenn Wagner, who posted 14 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Ronin Young and Andrew Sluder certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Young dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 boards, while Sluder put up ten points and six rebounds. Those ten points gave Sluder a new career-high.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Colonial Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Crosspointe Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 51-36 defeat against Indiana Christian Academy on the 24th. As for Colonial Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-36 loss against Mooresville Christian on the 24th.
