Football Recap: Mt. Diablo Red Devils vs. Deer Valley Wolverines
Mt. Diablo had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Deer Valley Wolverines by a score of 42-35 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.
Despite the loss, Deer Valley still got an impressive performance from Adrian Masaniai, who threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns. Anias Hightower was in the mix as well, providing Deer Valley with two touchdowns touchdowns.
Mt. Diablo will take on Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Valley, they will face off against Mt. Eden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
