Soccer Recap: Carroll Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Carroll proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by four) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past Providence Christian 3-2. Carroll better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Sahara Moreno, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Carroll's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six matches. As for Providence Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Carroll and Providence Christian will both be playing Ariton the next time they take the pitch. Providence Christian will host Ariton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Carroll will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
