Springs Valley is a perfect 5-0 against Cannelton since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blackhawks will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Springs Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Northeast Dubois and fell 6-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Jeeps: they've now lost four in a row.

Springs Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Allstott, who got on base in four of his seven plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cannelton). They had just enough and edged out Shoals 16-15.

Springs Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Cannelton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Springs Valley took their victory against Cannelton in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Blackhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
