Jamauri Dailey Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Starting off the list is Southern Choctaw's Jamauri Dailey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Dailey made a tackle and defended a pass, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 82 yards.

Southern Choctaw's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. Dailey and Southern Choctaw will head out on the road to face off against Leroy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Fruitdale might've come up empty on Friday, Brock Williams wasn't going down without a fight. Williams turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Fruitdale is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Williams and Fruitdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweet Water at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Demarco Johnson Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Southern Choctaw got the W thanks in part to Demarco Johnson playing the best football he has all season. Johnson picked up 48 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass.

For the season, Johnson has averaged 6.4 total tackles per game.

Riley Came Up Big in Mcintosh's 55-16 Loss

Rounding off our Top Five is Cedric Riley of McIntosh. Riley rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.

McIntosh is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Riley and McIntosh will stay at home for another week and welcome Marengo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
