After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Porter Ridge, Piedmont was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Sun Valley Spartans. Considering Piedmont's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Sun Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brody Drake (2), Kaleb Frost, and Meliksah Kusoglu.

With the win, Piedmont broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-13-4. As for Sun Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-2 record this season.
