Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Santa Fe had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past the Gabrielino Eagles 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chiefs have posted since February 22nd.

Santa Fe's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Gabrielino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Santa Fe will challenge Norwalk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwalk will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Santa Fe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gabrielino, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against El Monte at 3:30 p.m. Gabrielino is facing El Monte at the right time seeing as El Monte is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
