After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garces Memorial, Bishop Union was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 53-0 win over the Burroughs Burros. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Burros recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Bishop Union got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hunter Dailey out in front who rushed for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Dailey's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Dondero, who threw for 206 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Bishop Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Carlos Sualez, Elliott Douda, and Dom Barlow picked up one apiece.

The victory got Bishop Union back to even at 2-2. As for Burroughs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bishop Union will head out on the road to face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burroughs, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Barstow at 7:00 p.m.
