Volleyball Recap: Wyalusing Valley Wins Going Away Against Cowanesque Valley

Wyalusing Valley won the last time they faced Cowanesque Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indians. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 25-12.

Isabel McKeon was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last five games. Kirra Millard also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Wyalusing Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Wyalusing Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Cowanesque Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
