Dynamic duo of Kaylin Ellensohn and Isabelle Miller lead Wellington-Napoleon to victory

Recap: Wellington-Napoleon Tigers vs. Plattsburg Tigers
The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers entered their tilt with the Plattsburg Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Wellington-Napoleon walked away with a 35-26 victory over Plattsburg on Tuesday.
Leading Wellington-Napoleon to victory were Kaylin Ellensohn and Isabelle Miller. Ellensohn dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Miller scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ellensohn has scored at least 25% of Wellington-Napoleon's points.
Wellington-Napoleon pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Plattsburg, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellington-Napoleon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lafayette County at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Lafayette County is ranked 309th, while Wellington-Napoleon is ranked 305th). Plattsburg's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bishop LeBlond on December 27th.
