Volleyball Recap: East Greenwich Falls Short Against Ranked La Salle Academy + How To Watch

East Greenwich faced La Salle Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Avengers lost 3-0 to the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Avengers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-12.

Addison Fain paced East Greenwich's offense, picking up eight kills. Fain got some help from Sophia Hartman and her ten assists. Kiera Legault controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

East Greenwich's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for La Salle Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

East Greenwich has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Cranston East on the 24th. La Salle Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
