Basketball Game Preview: Washington Huskies vs. Kennedy Titans

Washington has gone 8-2 against Kennedy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Washington Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Kennedy Titans at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Washington picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over American.

It was another big night for Gianni Clark, who went 14 for 24 on his way to 25 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Uynam Trinh, who went 7 of 17 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and Amador Valley didn't end well, with Kennedy falling 81-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (59), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Washington, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Washington came up short against Kennedy when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 80-73. Thankfully for Washington, Will Dorsey (who dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
