Soccer Recap: Hanover Takes a Loss

Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hanover couldn't quite close it out.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Annville-Cleona, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-15.

Hanover wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Biglerville on the 7th. As for Annville-Cleona, they will face off against Northern Lebanon at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Annville-Cleona will be up against Northern Lebanon's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
