Softball Recap: United Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact United Christian Academy can now relate to. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lennox Academy Panthers on Wednesday. That makes it the first time this season the Eagles have let down their home crowd.

United Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Elizabeth Krueger, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Krueger is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Barcelo, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

United Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Lennox Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

As of now, neither United Christian Academy nor Lennox Academy have any future games scheduled.
