Independence won the last time they faced Lebanon Trail and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Independence Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers 86-41. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lebanon Trail still got an impressive performance from Zade Shawwa, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Gibson, who earned six points.

Independence now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Lebanon Trail, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.

Looking ahead, Independence will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lebanon Trail, they will head out on the road to challenge Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully Lebanon Trail likes a good challenge.
