Del Oro not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vanden Vikings.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 26-24.

Hayden Yarnes paced Del Oro's offense, picking up 13 kills. Yarnes got some help from James Learn and his 34 assists. Finally, Grayson Holcomb kept Del Oro's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Del Oro's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-10. As for Vanden, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

Del Oro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Davis Sr. on the 7th. As for Vanden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Wood on the 7th.
