It's playoff time, and Cherokee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Avery County Vikings get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Braves have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Cherokee, bringing their record up to 8-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Avery County, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Cherokee nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
