Timber Creek put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Midlothian Panthers by a score of 6-1. Six seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Addisyn Inocencio made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run every time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katelyn Pegram, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Eliana Ortiz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Timber Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Midlothian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Timber Creek will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Keller Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midlothian, they will head out to face off against Grapevine at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grapevine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
