After only two runs in their last matchup, Dickson County made sure to put some runs up on the board against West Creek on Thursday. The Cougars never let the Coyote get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.
Elizabeth Dunnagan made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Coralee Grove, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Audrey Burr also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
