Basketball Recap: Deuel Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Deuel was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were dealt a 71-24 defeat at the hands of the Hamlin Chargers. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Deuel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Hamlin, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Deuel will challenge Redfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hamlin, they will square off against St. Thomas More at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Hamlin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
