Soccer Recap: Rockford East Comes Up Short

Rockford East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Freeport Pretzels, falling 7-0. If Rockford East were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Freeport when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Freeport, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Rockford East has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Jefferson on the 16th. As for Freeport, they will take on Belvidere North at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
