Socorro had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Brewer Bears.

Kendra Stanford paced Socorro's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stanford got some help from Mia Arellano and her 23 assists. Finally, Alyssa Del Hierro kept Socorro's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Socorro's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Brewer, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.

Socorro has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against North Crowley on the 16th. As for Brewer, they will square off against Ponder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
