Baseball Recap: Cedar Cliff Has No Trouble Against State College

Cedar Cliff owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the State College Little Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Cedar Cliff got a great performance from Peyton Price as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Price has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael Boblick, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blake Secrest, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

The win snapped Cedar Cliff's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record. As for State College, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
