Basketball Recap: Medicine Valley Raiders vs. Dundy County-Stratton Tigers

If Medicine Valley was feeling good fresh off their 70-26 takedown of Brady last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Medicine Valley Raiders took a 68-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-44 back in December of 2024.

Dundy County-Stratton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was August Shaw out in front who went 8-for-15 en route to 22 points and six assists. Those 22 points gave Shaw a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Latta, who posted 14 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.

Medicine Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Medicine Valley nor Dundy County-Stratton have any future games scheduled.
