Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Carrollton Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Carrollton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-6 win against St. Paul Lutheran on the 6th. As for Carrollton, they will head out on the road to challenge Holden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
