Basketball Recap: Upper Merion Area Comes Up Short

Upper Merion Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 62-40 to the Pottstown Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-44 back in December of 2024.

Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Pottstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Upper Merion Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-35 loss against Phoenixville on the 30th. Pottstown has also already played their next game, a 64-50 defeat against Pottsgrove on the 30th.
