It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lytle had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lytle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Looking ahead, Lytle will challenge Industrial on Thursday. The Cobras' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Great Hearts Northern Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
